UFC Fight Night: Yan vs Dvalishvili Quick Picks
The bantamweight title eliminator for all the marbles! Best props and quick picks to put in your parlays
We’re back for another week of solid UFC action! After last week’s nearly perfect slate of picks was turned on it’s head by Alexa Grasso, we’re back for an intriguing fight between the top contenders for the next title shot (after Cejudo… And O’Malley) at 135, plus Tyson Nam getting a shot to knock off the streaking Bruno Silva, Assuncao getting another chance to prove age is just a number vs Davey Grant, and a fairly stacked main card. Let’s jump right in!
Best Bets:
Tyson Nam +155 (B-) — I’d like to see even better odds here as Tyson’s counterpunching tendencies and limited output put him at risk of losing a decision if he gives up too much bottom time or time on the fence to Bruno’s grappling. That said, I have a feeling Tyson checks his chin enough times to at least get the W with the recent scoring biased to damage, if not the finish. Double down on Rd 2 and 3 props, cover on Bruno by decision if you cover.
Volkov by Decision +400 (C+) (cover finish rd 3 +1000 (D+), Romanov in Rd 1 +350 C) — Unless we see a very different Romanov, and honestly its in his best interest to fight his usual 1 rd style here, he either washes Volkov out early or Volkov survives the early going and manages distance and touches Romanov up over the next two to the tune of a decision or late finish.
Yan ITD +200 — Merab’s style gets him tired and leaves him open. Over 5 rds I lean towards an opportunity to finish. Have fun picking rounds.
Merab by decision (cover) +330. He’s got to avoid a lot of danger to get here, but its his clear path to victory as always.
Krylov ITD -115 (C-) — If Spann can’t turn the lights out on the iron chinned Miner early, I see Krylov’s pace and IQ taking over, and he could snatch a sub on Spann anytime or knock him silly. Spann has been on the rise however he could easily show new form and upset the war weary Krylov… But I think he hits his current ceiling with the clash of styles.
That’s all for this early card degenerates, tune in !NOW! for some great action, get your bets in, and as always win big! We’ll see you all next week, and just a bit richer!
No room to breathe for 25 straight minutes for Yan he needed to try selling out earlier it's almost like he expected Merab so slow down and so did I but rd 5 was the same place as rd 1 not even breathing heavy dude is nuts. End of the round Yan landed some big shits but waaay too little too late just constantly defending TD's , not much control from merab but pressure makes diamonds
Looks like I had it the wrong way around -- should've covered on yan to finish late and gone main on Merab by decision... He's been relentless, showing signs of slowing down in rd 4 and Yan had his chances there, but we'll see what the 5th holds
