Walker, a blitz fighter, tried an outsize range game, which Thiago nearly beat Jon Jones at... But neither side really cared to press the action and a fire card capped off with a shitty end to the co-main and a lackluster main....
I'll just say it... That was a garbage affair. The 205 version of Ngannou Black Beast. Feinting requires you to throw a strike every once in a while. Through 3 rounds the two had combined for 17 head strikes. It didn't improve much from there. Santos probably gets the nod but who knows and who really cares after a bout like that.
Santos keeping Walker frozen landed a couple good overhands and is avoiding all the big shots, though feints have Walker fairly frozen in his own constant movement and feinting
But santos likely to lose a decision vs a Walker who is content to play a smart outside kickboxing game to win points and avoid damage. Santos needs to come forward and inflict damage to win but I'm not seeing the fire right now
This Price Cowboy fight is turning out a lot more even than I anticipated, with Cowboy's cardio holding up and wrestling looking good in the 2nd. 1-1 going into the third

Walker getting gun shy and Santos landing, turning the tides

And santos starting to pick it up with the big left body kick
I'm now fully expecting a decision unless these guys pick it up
We'll call that a "feeling out" round...
